We know that finding a good fit in a church home can be a challenge! Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions to help you get started at Topeka Bible Church. If you don’t find the information you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us!

What Time are Your Services?

We offer Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 AM (with our 9 AM service available online via livestream). We also have adult Sunday classes and children’s and youth Sunday school classes at these times.

Learn more about our livestream options here.

How Do I Dress?

We care more that you’re here, than what you wear. Dress in whatever you feel is comfortable.

Where Do I Go?

Our campus comprises two buildings on two adjacent city blocks, and it can get a little confusing to know which building to visit. There is a Guest Services Desk in the lobby of each building, and we encourage guests to stop by and get your questions answered, or just get a look around before settling in!

Our Mulvane Building is located at 1101 SW Mulvane St, on the eastern half of our campus. The Mulvane Auditorium is typically where the message is delivered live (it is shown via video in our other building). This auditorium features wooden pews and stained glass windows and is a more traditional setting. This building houses some of our Adult Sunday Classes.

The College Ave Building is located at 1135 SW College Ave, on the western half of our campus. The College Auditorium is popular for young families because our nursery and all children’s Sunday school programs are held in the same building. The auditorium has a more contemporary feel, with padded, moveable seats. And as mentioned above, the pastor’s message is shown via video on a large screen.

Where Do My Kids Go?

You’re welcome to attend services as a family, or you may choose to take advantage of our nursery or children’s Sunday School classes.

Should you decide to take advantage of our children’s programming, the best place to start is at the College Ave Building at our Guest Services Desk, located in the lobby. Our volunteers will greet you and depending upon the age of your children, they will direct you to either our KidCheck area or your child’s Sunday School class location. For younger kids, KidCheck volunteers help record your information (for safety purposes) and will direct you to the appropriate location for nursery or Sunday school.

A staffed nursery is available during both service times (9 and 10:30 AM). Nursery facilities are located in the College Building just off the auditorium. Learn more about our nursery.

Great, fun-filled Sunday school classes are offered at 9 and 10:30 AM for children ages two and older.

We also have a very active Student Ministry for teens in middle and high school, with classes on Sunday morning (9 AM for sr high, 10:30 AM for jr high) and activities throughout the week.

What's a Typical Sunday Service Like?

We offer a contemporary worship style where we strive to offer a different, fresh, creative approach to worship each week. From country to blues, classical to rock, our worship services are designed to draw everyone from seekers to long-time believers into corporate worship by the body of Christ. Our service provides an environment where all can feel welcome and relaxed.

Music worship is followed by a sermon/message. The message might be part of a series or a stand-alone topic. We invite you to check out a couple of our recent message videos to get a feel for the sermon messages.

Typically on the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion. You’re welcome to join in; just follow along with your neighbors as the unleavened bread and the grape juice are passed.
