Grow in the grace & knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 2 Peter 3:18

When you embrace grace and gain knowledge, growth will be the outcome. Our Women’s Ministry is committed to helping you grow in grace (receiving it and giving it) and in your knowledge of Jesus Christ through His glorious Word and prayer. Join us for exciting growth opportunities this year!

WOMEN'S WEEKDAY BIBLE STUDIES

Our leadership team reviews dozens of women’s Bible studies each year, looking for content that is fresh, biblical, and relevant to today’s world. Classes are typically held Wednesday mornings and evenings starting in September, January and June. Monitor our Events & Registration page to find upcoming classes. Childcare is usually available for these classes.

SUNDAY WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Our Women’s Sunday Bible Study class meets during the 9 AM service on the second floor of the Mulvane Building. Stop by our Guest Services Desk in the lobby and we’ll be happy to get you connected with the women in this class!

We also offer a Sunday class for single moms. See the tab below!

SINGLE MOMS' SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

We help single moms to make Christ the anchor in their lives and homes and to seek trust and hope in Jesus' unfailing promises. If you are a single mother, we’d like to help you achieve a healthier balance by encouraging you to see Christ's strength and protection as you grow in your personal relationship with God, provide activities to build relationships with other moms, and help in times of need.

We meet at 10:30 AM Sundays in the Fireside Room of the College Avenue Building. We enjoy connecting time as well as Bible studies. Past studies have included spiritual gifts, Daniel, Ruth, Esther and the Bible studies of Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer and Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

We also offer trained Christian financial counselors who can help moms learn to balance the checkbook, set up a budget and form a strategy to reduce burdensome debt. Individual help for housing challenges can be arranged.

Our men’s ministry provides support through car maintenance clinics throughout the year.

One-on-one confidential mentoring and discipling are available for single mothers. The network opportunities between the other single mothers and the church body help provide a wealth of knowledge, support, counsel and friendships.

Email Debi Parker for more information.

INTENTIONAL MOM

Gather with other moms to share fellowship based on biblical truths as we grow closer to Christ and closer to our families.

We want moms at all stages of their walk with Christ from all over Topeka to join us!

During our sessions, we’ll hear speakers on a variety of topics related to our faith and parenting. We also do crafts, enjoy fellowship with one another, and, of course, eat great food. It’s a rewarding time that you don’t want to miss!

• We meet 9:05-11:30 AM the first and third Thursdays of the month (September thru May)  in the College Avenue Building, 1135 SW College Ave.

• The cost is $30 per semester or $50 per year.  Childcare is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Expresso - Real Women, Real Stories

FullSizeRender.jpg.jpeg

Expresso was created to provide a "coffee shop" atmosphere for women to come and hang out with each other and take a break from the demands of their day. Expresso is on the second Tuesday of selected months from 7-8 PM. Each session features two TBC women sharing their stories of encouragement and inspiration.

Visit our Women’s Media Page to hear audio recordings of past Expresso sessions.

LIT WITS WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB

Join Lit Wits to discuss books on many subjects, all with a link to our faith. We gather for connecting time (feel free to bring a snack to share) at 6:30 PM in the College Ave. Library. Book discussion begins at 7.

Email Rosalie Wenger or Debi Parker for more information.

Download our 2023-24 book selections and discussion dates.

AUDIO AND VIDEO COLLECTIONS FOR WOMEN

Browse a collection of Expresso event audio recordings, audio from special events for women, and audio and/or video recordings of select women’s Bible studies (including the popular Chronological Bible Study).
